Hello. I am glad you are reading the blog. Here’s a little information about my education and experience working as a Psychiatrist and a Psychotherapist.
I completed my training in Psychiatry from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai in the year 2006. Since then I have worked at a few hospitals as a Psychiatrist.
I have also received training in Psychotherapy (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) from Mumbai and New York. At Mumbai, I got trained at In Vivo – Mumbai Center for REBT. At New York, I got trained in and received Primary and Advanced Certificate in REBT from the Albert Ellis Institute, New York.
The focus of my work at present is Depression and Relationship issues. I work with my clients via Psychotherapy.
Dr Abhijeet Deshmukh
The most preferred mode of psychotherapy. Each session lasts 45 minutes. Confidentiality of the client is maintained.
Small / large group workshops are conducted on a few topics closely related to Depression.
Psychiatric Consultation involves detailed history, clinical examination and interview. A thorough treatment plan is chalked out.
